Keep Your Dreams Alive      since 1998

KYDA Pro Wrestling

It all started on June 05, 1995 in Manassas Park. Total Package Promotions promoted a fundraising event for the local high school. 500 people filled the 600 capacity facility to witness Tony "Mr. USA" Atlas battle Johnny Gunn (aka Tom Brandi, Sal Sincere), and then Atlas turned on Sweet Jimmy Z by giving him a pair of pile drivers.

Then on December 02, 1995 at Fairfax High School, a show was presented to raise money for the wrestling team and toys for the needy children. Over 1300 people filled the stands to see the WWF's Adam Bomb (WCW's Wrath), Johnny Gunn, Sweet Jimmy Z, and Big Slam, and others.

Total Package Promotions then joined forces with UCW and formed the IPWA - Independent Professional Wrestling Alliance. This 2 year joint venture produced shows in New Jersey, Virginia, and the Carolinas. The monthly shows held in Alexandria, Virginia are still talked about among the loyal fans. The cage match with Cueball Carmichael and Johnny Gunn, The Axl Rotten shoot that destroyed the ring and almost incited a riot, Sweet Jimmy Z having his long hair cut in the middle of the ring, Diamond being viciously thrown out of the ring, the Headbangers being the Bangers, the theft of the IPWA Title -- BY A FAN!!! and the appearances of Brutus Beefcake (Disciple), Bam Bam Bigelow, King Kong Bundy, Buddy Landell, Virgil (NwO Vincent), Jim Neidhart, Dan "The Beast" Severn, Jimmy Cicero, Julio Sanchez, Corporal Punishment, Big Slam and others
.

And then on January 01, 1998 the separation of the IPWA and the formation of KYDA Pro!!!
